Heroic tales are a favorite of mine. This statue of Arash Kamangir exemplifies the idea of a mythical hero to me: grand action, and grand sacrifice. While I'm not choosing the Persian tales, Arash will forever be a favorite of mine.

Personally, its hard to pick one unit to be excited for. I can't wait to get a better understanding of the tales I already know and love, such as the Iliad or that of King Arthur, as well as getting to experience new cultures' own mythology, such as in the Turkish Fairy Tales as well as in the Alaskan legends. I had hoped that the Celtic units would have included more of the Irish heroic tales, such as that of Fionn mac Cumhail or Cuchulann. Even just considering the stories I have ahead of me has made me begin to brainstorm my Storybook project.
